Facebook launches new tools

A week after Facebook made its ‘Mentions’ app available to Journalists with verified profiles, it freshly discovered a new tool called “Signal” for more help to them. The tool will be free for all the  Journalists.

This new tool helps Journalists find, source, embed content including the ability to surface relevant trends, photos, videos, and posts from nearly 1.5 billion Facebook users and 300 million Instagram users in their storytelling and reporting across news, entertainment, sports, culture and many more – all at one place.

The new tool is a part of Facebook’s efforts to intertwine itself with the Journalist and media publications who are attracting an enormous viewers by way of the social networking platforms.
